Close to Home in Freeburg
Freeburg is a friendly St. Clair County town along Route 15, close to Belleville and Mascoutah and surrounded by farm country. It has the kind of community spirit where school games, church picnics, homecoming parades, and small business milestones bring people together. A well-made banner helps you share those moments and draw folks in. Metro East Signs is based in nearby Shiloh, so Freeburg is practically a neighbor, and we enjoy working with local shops, schools, churches, and families. We help you choose a banner size that reads well from the road, select a material that fits your location, and organize your message so it is clear at a glance. Whether you want to promote a new business, celebrate graduates, or announce a fundraiser, we will help you create something that looks good and does its job.
Banners for Schools and Sports
Schools and sports programs use banners in many ways. Gym and stadium banners celebrate championships and display team pride. Senior and athlete banners along fences honor students during their final season. Sponsor banners on outfield fences and gym walls recognize the businesses that support teams. Spirit banners at entrances and in hallways help create excitement around homecoming and big games. For outdoor fences, mesh vinyl reduces wind resistance and holds up well, while solid vinyl is ideal for indoor walls and sheltered spaces. Using school colors and logos consistently gives everything a unified look. Many programs design reusable banners without specific dates or names so they can bring them back each year. We can help coaches, booster clubs, and school staff plan sizes, layouts, and quantities that fit their facilities and budgets.

Our FAQ's
What size are typical senior athlete banners hung on a school fence?
Senior athlete banners vary, but many schools choose a vertical format tall enough to show a clear photo, name, and sport from a distance. Consistent sizing across all athletes gives a neat appearance. Consider fence height and spacing when choosing dimensions. We can help you pick a size that fits your fence and budget.
How do booster clubs usually collect photos and info for athlete banners?
Many booster clubs set a deadline and ask families to submit a high-resolution photo, the athlete's name, sport, and any other details in a consistent format. Using a simple form or shared folder helps keep everything organized. Request photos taken in good lighting with a plain background for the best printed results.
Can a banner be designed so new sponsors can be added later?
Yes, one approach is to create a main sponsor banner with space reserved for future logos, or to use separate smaller panels that can be added as sponsors join. Another option is a standard template for individual sponsor banners. Planning the layout with growth in mind keeps everything looking organized over time.
